The Israeli army killed the head of the military wing of the Gaza Popular Resistance Committee

The Israel Defense Forces announced that they killed the head of the military wing of the Gaza "Popular Resistance Committee" terrorist group at night. The military says that the military planes carried out an airstrike on the city of Rafah in the south of Gaza, resulting in Rafat Abu Hilal's death.

The Popular Resistance Committee is the third-largest terrorist group in the zone after Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The IDF has targeted several members of Hamas' Nukhba commando force, which led to the October 7 attack.
