Against the background of the Israeli-Palestinian tension, many residents from the southern regions of Lebanon bordering Israel are migrating to more distant and safer regions. Israel's army command earlier announced that it would evacuate 28 communities within two kilometers (1.2 miles) of the Lebanese border.
The pro-Iranian group "Hezbollah" occasionally fires rockets from Lebanon, also trying to infiltrate in small groups, which Israel counters with artillery and airstrikes.
