German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will visit Israel on Tuesday, October 17. Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper made such a statement.
Scholz will stay in Israel for a few hours, after which he will leave for Egypt. Since the armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian radical movement Hamas escalated on October 7, no head of government from any country has visited Israel.
