The heads of Israel and several Arab states assured US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who visited those countries last week that they do not want the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to expand further in the region. Blinken announced this on the X social network (formerly Twitter).
"I have visited Israel, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt in the last few days. What I heard from each of our partners was a shared vision of the need to prevent further spread of the conflict, protect the lives of vulnerable people, and provide aid to those in Gaza who need it," Blinken wrote.
