"We are here, and we will not leave." Blinken to Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Blinken whispered to Netanyahu at the meeting, "I'm glad to see you. I'm sorry it's under these circumstances." He assured them that they would not go anywhere on Israel's side.

US Chargé joined Blinken d'affaires Stephanie Hallett and several aides. Netanyahu was flanked by Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, Defense Secretary Avi Gil, Israeli Ambassador to Washington Michael Herzog, and Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, whom Netanyahu rarely invites to such meetings.
