On October 11, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the EU's special representative in the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar. It was noted that at the meeting, the parties exchanged ideas on the prospects of the draft peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, issues of the regulation of relations between the two countries, the latest situation in the region, and the integration of Karabakh Armenians.
Bayramov told Klaar that the departure of Armenian residents from the territory of Azerbaijan is not related to forced displacement, and the recent visits of UN representatives to the region and the statements made after the holiday are a vivid example.
