704 Palestinians were killed in Israel's shelling of the Gaza Strip, while Israeli media reported that the death toll in military operations by Palestinian groups after the Hamas attack reached nearly 1,000.
Sky News Arabia reported that the Ministry of Health in Palestine reports 704 dead and 3900 wounded. In parallel, the UN says that 187,000 Palestinians have been displaced as a result of the bombing of the Gaza Strip.
