Poland has started evacuating its citizens from Israel. Early Monday morning, the first plane carrying 120 citizens landed at the Warsaw airport.
"The first evacuees from Israel have already arrived in Poland. I want to thank our military for the successful operation," Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on X. Two more evacuation flights from Israel to Poland are planned.
As of last Sunday, about 200 tourists from Poland, including a group of schoolchildren, were awaiting evacuation in Israel.
