The Republic of Artsakh is dissolved. The decree of Samvel Shahramanyan
The Information Headquarters of Artsakh informed about the order of the Head of Nagorno Karabakh on the dissolution of the Republic of Artsakh.
"The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, signed a decree on the actions arising from the created situation.
According to the decree, in connection with the problematic military-political situation, based on the priority of ensuring the physical security and vital interests of the people of Artsakh, taking into account the agreement reached through the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces, agreeing with the representatives of Azerbaijan, that the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including the military personnel who have laid down their weapons, will be released. It was decided that voluntary and unimpeded traffic be ensured along the Lachin Corridor.
1. Dissolve all departmental state institutions and organizations by January 1, 2024. The Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) ceases to exist.
2. The population of Nagorno-Karabakh, including those outside the republic, after the entry into force of this decree, familiarize themselves with the reintegration conditions presented by Azerbaijan to make an independent and individual decision about the possibility of staying (returning) to Nagorno-Karabakh in the future.
This decree enters into force immediately after its publication.
