USAID director Samantha Power arrived in Azerbaijan. Power will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku to discuss the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the importance of fulfilling Azerbaijan's commitments in this regard. Yuri Kim, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, accompanies Power.
During her visit, Power will also discuss the prospects for a stable and dignified peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia based on mutual respect, territorial integrity, and sovereignty. USAID reported this.
