The Pentagon spent $389.5 billion on 2022 contracts

In 2022 the Pentagon spent 389.5 billion dollars on contracts in various fields. Of these funds, Lockheed Martin received $44.5 billion. This is stated in the message of the military department.

Among the companies, Lockheed Martin Corporation received the most significant sum of money under contracts from the Pentagon in the reporting period: $44.5 billion, Raytheon Technologies was in second place ($25.4 billion), and General Dynamics was third ($21.5 billion). Next are Pfizer ($16.7 billion), Boeing ($14.2 billion), Northrop Grumman ($12.8 billion), Humana ($7.7 billion), L3Harris Technologies ($6.2 billion), Huntington Ingalls ($6.1 billion) and BAE Systems ($4.9 billion).
