US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas will announce the decision this week, following a recommendation from Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. The issue of visa-free entry to the US for Israeli citizens was one of the topics that Biden discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
