Blinken called on Aliyev to immediately stop military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke today with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, calling for Azerbaijan to immediately stop military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh. The US State Department reports this.
"The Secretary of State emphasized that there is no military solution and that the parties should resume the dialogue to resolve the differences between the ethnic Armenians of Baku and Nagorno-Karabakh. The Secretary of State noted that President Aliyev expressed his readiness to stop military operations and meet with representatives of the population of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh," the message said.
