Military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh must stop, and Armenia and Azerbaijan must resolve their differences diplomatically. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this.
"Armenia and Azerbaijan are now in a very extreme situation, and therefore it is quite clear to us that this episode of the war must be stopped immediately," said Scholz.
