Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Aykhan Hajizade, referring to the speech of Yuri Kim, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, during the hearing held in the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee on September 14, in which he stated that the Lachin Corridor is blocked, the military attack against the Armenian people of Nagorno-Karabakh it is unacceptable. He answered that it is essential to protect their rights and security in the peace agreement.
"Yuri Kim's statements do not reflect the current situation and realities in the region. They are painful. We want to remind Mrs. Kim, who insists that the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not over, that it has ended after the tripartite declaration signed on November 10, 2020."
