Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, referred to the visit of Louis Bono, the American co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, to the region, noting that their short-term priority is the reopening of the Lachine Corridor and their long-term one is the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
"He continues to deal with both the short-term priority, which is reopening the Lachin Corridor, and, of course, our long-term priority, which I call the long-term, but we want it to happen as soon as possible, reaching a peaceful settlement of the general issue," he said.
