On September 13, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
According to the Twitter page of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, "Amir Abdollahian referred to the military exercises conducted by Armenia and the USA, noting that any presence of foreign forces in the region will further complicate the situation." To achieve stable peace, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the need to fight against the root causes of differences, adding that the most effective way to ensure comprehensive stability is through regional negotiations and mechanisms, including the 3+3 tool."
