"The Russian war against Ukraine may last a long time." Head of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces

"The West should be prepared that Russia's war against Ukraine will continue for a long time. Moreover, even after the war ends, Russia will threaten Europe," said Karel Rzeka, Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces, on Wednesday, September 13.
According to him, taking into account the current situation on the military front, "none of the parties will be able to achieve the stated goals shortly." Commenting on the Ukrainian counter-offensive, the Czech army officer emphasized that despite opposing assessments, he was satisfied with its pace.
