The US will sell a $5 billion F35 to South Korea

The US Defense, Security, and Cooperation Agency reported that the US State Department has approved the possible sale of F-35 fighter jets and related equipment to South Korea for $5.06 billion.

We are talking about acquiring up to 25 fighters. The department assured that the delivery of this equipment will not harm the combat readiness of the United States and "will not change the basic military balance" in the region.
