Despite the goal of leaving Russian energy, Germany continues to buy large volumes of Russian oil from India. Der Spiegel magazine writes about this.
According to these data, the volume of import of oil products from India to Germany increased 12 times during the year. From January to July 2022, it amounted to 37 million euros, and in the same period of 2023 - 451 million euros. It is 2.4% of oil products imported to Germany during that period.
