"Ukraine's future is with NATO, but the conflict must be ended first." Berbock

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock spoke in favor of Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, but only after the end of the conflict.
"Ukraine's future is connected not only with the European Union but also with NATO," he said. The minister noted that NATO members must protect every square centimeter of the alliance's territory. "In this sense, Ukraine cannot be accepted as long as it is in a state of war," Baerbock said.
