Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov gave an interview with the "AzerTac" agency, where he spoke about the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the negotiation process, and Azerbaijan's positions.
"Azerbaijan will continue to work in this direction ("Zangezuri," ed.), but it has a plan "B." The project will be implemented even without Armenia's participation, but in this case, Armenia will be left out of the list of beneficiaries," Bayramov said.
"Opening communications in the region is very important because transport links, trade, etc., not only bring benefits and profits to the parties but also make the peace process in the region irreversible, as they closely connect countries. At the same time, the geopolitical processes that are taking place not only in our region but also outside it dictate to us the need to open new transport routes connecting the East and the West, especially if we consider the war in Ukraine," Bayramov said.
