US State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel referred to the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"We remain deeply involved in constant communication with the parties. I don't have any concrete news in this regard. Still, we are deeply concerned about the ban on the supply of food, medicine, and vital goods caused by the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh", he stated.
At the same time, according to the official, "The United States has continued to work with the parties over the past several weeks to allow humanitarian aid to reach the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, and we reiterate our call for the immediate reopening of the Lachin Corridor for humanitarian, commercial, and passenger traffic."
