"Baku officials and Stepanakert representatives should meet immediately." US State Department Spokesperson

Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, announced that the United States is deeply concerned about the worsening humanitarian conditions in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the continued blockade of food, medicine, and other goods essential for a dignified existence.

"The United States has worked continuously with the parties over the past several weeks to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the people of Nagorno-Karabakh. We reiterate our call for immediately reopening the Lachine Corridor for humanitarian, commercial, and passenger traffic.

In addition, Baku officials and Stepanakert representatives should meet immediately to agree on ways to get vital food to the men, women, and children of Nagorno-Karabakh, including through additional supply routes, and to resume discussions on all outstanding issues.
