Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev, interviewed the BBC, referring to the blocking of the Lachin road and the opening of the Aghdam-Askeran road. According to Hajiyev, after the start of the Aghdam Road, Lachin road will also be opened within 24 hours.
"The more roads, the better for everyone," he said, adding that the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh are offered the same linguistic, cultural, religious, and local government rights as the rest of Azerbaijan's citizens.
