Ukraine's Defense Minister denies new allegations of corruption

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Alexey Reznikov, has denied the new accusations of corruption against his department. Earlier, several Ukrainian media outlets wrote that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine signed a contract with a Turkish company at the end of 2022 to supply winter clothing for the military. Still, the cost of the shipment tripled on the way to Ukraine.

According to the media, one of the owners of the Turkish company is Alexander Kasai, the brother-in-law of the ruling "Servant of the People" party, Gennady Kasai. "Spreading such information misleads the public and can tarnish Ukraine's image in the eyes of its partners," Reznikov believes.
