French President Emmanuel Macron promised today at the conference of French ambassadors to take a "diplomatic initiative" in an attempt to eliminate the permanent blocking of the Lachin Corridor, the only road connecting Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh, by Azerbaijan.
"This week I will have the opportunity to have a discussion with Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. We will demand full respect for the Lachine humanitarian corridor and we will again take a diplomatic, international initiative in this direction to increase the pressure," Macron said.
