The White House is aware of the plane crash near Tver and would not be surprised if the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin is confirmed, US National Security Council spokesman Adrian Watson said on Wednesday.
"We have seen that message. If the news is confirmed, it shouldn't be a surprise for anyone," Watson wrote on his X social network page, commenting on the publication of Prigozhin's possible death.
At the same time, according to the statement from the White House, US President Joe Biden has already been informed about the incident.
