The French Minister of Defense, Sébastien Lecornu, announced that France had trained 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers within the framework of the current year's programs.
"Already in August, we achieved the goal we set for one year, to train 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers distributed between France and Poland. It is necessary to prepare a new generation of soldiers for the counter-offensive of Ukraine," said Lecornu.
