Syrian President Bashar Assad refused to meet with Turkish President

Syrian President Bashar Assad refused to meet the Turkish President, he said in an interview with Skynews.

"The meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not take place due to the conditions proposed by Ankara. In the current situation, starting negotiations with him would mean recognizing Turkey's occupation of the northern regions of Syria. Ankara is responsible for the gangs' actions against the civilian population," Asad said.
