US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller discussed Turkey's role in reaching the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement and reconciliation agreement.
The journalist reminded me that the other day the US Secretary of State spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidani, discussing the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, and asked how they see Turkey's role in this process.
"I don't want to talk about it in detail, it was a private diplomatic conversation. I will only say that we believe that Turkey can play an effective role in this issue," replied Miller.
