Germany will encourage its companies to invest in Ukraine

German authorities have extended state guarantees for German companies investing in Ukraine. The press service of the German Federal Ministry of Economy announced this.

It is noted that now the country's government will cover not only the damage of the complete loss of investments, but also the risks of conversion and transfer of interest payments on investment loans.

"We are talking about long-term loans, which German companies often use, in addition to the usual participation in the capital, to finance Ukrainian subsidiaries," said the German Ministry of Economy.

Meanwhile, the German government will not charge a fee for applying for investment guarantees in Ukraine until 2025.
