The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan responded to the statements made by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at today's government session.
According to the Foreign Ministry, with his speech, the Prime Minister of Armenia is once again trying to mislead the international community regarding the work of the Lachin border checkpoint, territorial integrity, and delimitation. They claimed that the Lachin checkpoint was open.
According to the presentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, "if the Armenian side is really interested in peace and stability in the region, if it supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, not only in word, but also in deed, then it should refrain from such provocative steps, support Aghdam-Khankendi (Stepanakert. - ed.) to attract Armenian residents to the use of the road and other alternative roads. The Armenian side should not hinder Azerbaijan's efforts to reintegrate Armenian residents," the statement said.
