"The parties made progress on several future bilateral peace agreement articles." Bayramov to the chairman of the UN Security Council

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov notes that there is progress in several articles of the future agreement on establishing peace and interstate relations with Armenia.

"During the negotiations, the parties were able to settle the differences and make progress on a number of articles of the agreement on the establishment of future bilateral peace and interstate relations," says Bayramov.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan reported this on July 20 in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the UN Security Council.

"At this crucial moment, it is more important than ever for the international community to reject the attempts of manipulation carried out by Armenia and to convince Yerevan to finally stop the actions that undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, refrain from interfering in its internal affairs, and instead participate in good faith in the negotiations for the settlement of relations after the conflict," Bayramov emphasized.

The Foreign Minister reaffirmed Azerbaijan's commitment to the process of normalization of relations with Armenia. "In this regard, Azerbaijan expects the support of the international community for the ongoing process of normalization of bilateral relations with Armenia," Bayramov said.
