The Kremlin press service reports that during the telephone conversation, the presidents of Russia and Turkey agreed on preparing for a possible meeting.
"An agreement was reached to continue contacts at various levels, including in the context of preparations for a possible meeting of the two leaders," the statement said.
It should be noted that the Turkish President's Office earlier announced that Erdogan and Putin agreed on the Russian President's visit to Turkey.
