The Pope called on Europe to find ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine

"When we look at Europe with remorse and love (...) I want to ask where you are sailing if you do not propose ways of peace, creative ways to stop the hostilities in Ukraine and prevent the many bloody conflicts worldwide. - said the pontiff during his visit to Portugal.
He added that he is concerned that "in many countries of the world, investments are constantly being made for weapons, not for the future of children."
