Bayramov and Abdollahyan discussed the situation around the Lachin Corridor

On July 27, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian. The ministers exchanged views on bilateral and regional agenda issues.
According to the Azerbaijani side, Bayramov emphasized that "the Armenian side should put an end to the provocations in the region and, both in word and deed, respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan."
According to the Iranian "Irna" agency, "Bayramov thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its constructive positions on the Karabakh issue and explained the latest developments in the negotiations with Armenia regarding the Lachin Corridor."
