AMD will invest 400 million dollars in the development of microchips in India

The company's vice president, Mark Pipermeister, announced that US chipmaker AMD is investing $400 million in research and development in India over the next five years.
AMD has been present in India since 2001. Now its branches are open in five cities in the country, where a total of 6.5 thousand people work.
