Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan gave a press conference to local and international media yesterday. In response to the Russian "Interfax" news agency question, Araik Harutyunyan stated: "No country can deprive us of the right to self-determination. I call on the authorities of Armenia to be more careful in their statements. The right to self-determination is an international norm, our right, which we still use today."
Araik Harutyunyan also stated that he is ready for dialogue with Baku, which "must also take into account our rights and act on the principle of equality."
