In 2023, Turkey reached record volumes in concluding contracts for the export of defense industry products. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this in a video message addressed to the participants of the IDEF'23 defense exhibition opened in Istanbul on Tuesday.
As a result of Erdogan's visit to Saudi Arabia, the parties also signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding, including the implementation of joint projects in energy, investment, and defense industry.
