During 6 months of this year, EU countries deported 2313 citizens of Georgia. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia informs about it. The most deportations were from Germany (1,504), followed by France (332) and Greece (102).
In 2022, EU countries deported 3034 people. Since March 2017, Georgians have been entitled to visa-free short-term trips to Schengen countries (90 days within 180 days) for tourism, business, and guest visits.
