Citing several diplomats familiar with these plans, Politico reported the EU's intention to allocate 20 billion euros for the supply of the Ukrainian army. At the same time, it reported that the EU will not directly finance the purchase of weapons for Ukraine but will help member countries cover the costs of purchasing ammunition, missiles, and tanks and transporting them to Kyiv. In addition, the EU fund will help to pay the training costs of the Ukrainian military.
