The US State Department accepted the option of selling 1515 units of AGM-114R2 Hellfire anti-tank missile and related equipment to France. The Pentagon's military cooperation department reported this.
It is noted that the French government appealed to the United States with a request to sell them similar missiles for more than 203 million US dollars. The State Department has now reported this action to Congress.
