Ukraine will be an equal partner of the other countries of the North Atlantic Alliance within the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Council, the creation of which will be announced at the Vilnius summit. The Wall Street Journal reported this on Sunday.
Ukraine will have the right to call meetings of the council, will be able to create working committees, and make decisions that will be binding for other countries. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg plans to hold the council's first session on Wednesday, in which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate.
