The German Rheinmetall concern will open an armored equipment factory in the western region of Ukraine within 12 weeks. The company's director, Armin Paperger, said this in an interview with CNN.
Rheinmetall will operate the plant in cooperation with Ukroboronprom, the Ukrainian state defense concern, which will own the plant.
