Negotiations between Erdogan and Zelensky are taking place in Istanbul

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are holding talks in Istanbul.

The head of Ukraine arrived in Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart. Zelensky's visit to Turkey began with an official meeting at Vahdettin's residence. The leaders exchanged handshakes and expressions of greeting, then went to a personal meeting.

Regional and international issues will be discussed during the negotiations. In particular, the presidents will exchange ideas on bilateral relations, the latest developments in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the grain deal.

At the end of the bilateral meeting, the parties will continue the negotiations with an expanded composition. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Volodymyr Zelensky will hold a joint press conference at the end of the Turkish-Ukrainian negotiations.
