On Friday, the EU special commission approved the plan to increase munitions production, part of which will be transferred to Ukraine. Five hundred million euros will be allocated for the implementation of the project. The primary attention will be paid to producing artillery shells and rockets.
Brussels expects to increase production capacity to one million yearly rounds within 12 months.
