Turkey raises tolls for cargo ships passing through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits

Starting today, Turkey is increasing the fee for the passage of ships through the Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits.

Now it will be $4.42 per ton of cargo instead of $4.08 previously.

As reported by the Turkish media, this decision complies with the provisions of the Montreux Convention regulating the crossing of straits.
