Citing high-ranking US officials, the NBC TV channel reported on Friday that the USA may announce the delivery of cluster munitions to Ukraine in July.
On June 22, Laura Cooper, the deputy head of the Pentagon for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia, said that cluster munitions could affect the battlefield and will be helpful in the armed forces of Ukraine. However, on June 23, the Politico newspaper, citing sources, reported that the US government has yet to decide whether to supply them.
