India will produce new UAVs for its army

The Indian Aviation Development Organization is preparing for operational testing of the TAPAS BH-201 long-range strike and reconnaissance uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV).

The TAPAS BH-201 will be handed over to the troops for trial operation after successful test flights on Wednesday, according to The Hindu newspaper. The drone will be manufactured at the state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) aircraft manufacturing corporation.
